Yukon government now giving preference to Indigenous people when hiring

The Yukon government has launched a hiring program aimed at increasing the number of Indigenous people working in public service in the territory. As of October 1, qualified Indigenous people will be given priority for all Yukon government jobs. The program will run for 18 months and will continue if it is determined to be effective
