Yukon constructing safety berm at mine site where cyanide spilled into environment

The Yukon government says it has started constructing a safety berm at the Eagle Gold mine site. The mine, previously owned by Victoria Gold, experienced a heap leach failure in June that resulted in cyanide being released into the surrounding environment.
