Winnipeg Art Gallery holds naming ceremony for Qaumajuq Art Centre

The countdown is on for the opening of the highly anticipated Inuit art centre at the Winnipeg Art Gallery. While doors won't open until next year, those involved came together for a special naming ceremony. The centre will now be known as Qaumajuq Art Centre, meaning “it is bright it, it is lit” in Inuktitut.
