North of 60 actress Wilma Pelly passes away at age 83

Actress Wilma Pelly passed away on December 28 in Calgary at age 83. Pelly was from Muscowpetung Saulteaux Nation in Saskatchewan. She began acting in the 1990s – including her most memorable role as Elsie in the popular show North of 60.
