Nisichawayasihk Cree Nation adds new measures to its state of emergency

The Nisichawayasihk Cree Nation in northern Manitoba is adding new measures to its state of emergency to crack down on violence and illegal activity. A chief’s bulletin published Monday said that alcohol, drug use, bootlegging, illegal drug activity, and gang violence are causing increased violence in the community.
