New bill to create a commissioner for Modern Treaty Implementation

A new piece of legislation was tabled in the House of Commons Friday, called Bill C-77. It will create a commissioner for Modern Treaty Implementation. That person will ensure governments now and, in the future, uphold modern treaty obligations.
