NDP MP questions exclusion of Indigenous children in care from federal throne speech

NDP MP Leah Gazan stood up in question period, criticizing that there was no promise in the throne speech to address Indigenous children in care. Gazan said it is time to adhere to the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal’s ruling to end discrimination towards First Nations children.
