Native Women’s Association of Canada ‘deeply concerned’ by MMIWG secretariat appointment

The Native Women's Association of Canada sent a letter to Crown-Indigenous Relations Minister Carolyn Bennett this week citing concerns after a non-Indigenous man was appointed as executive director of the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls Secretariat.
