More help announced for Manitoba as third wave hits hard

With the continued drop in COVID-19 cases, hospitalizations and deaths across the country It appears the third wave is receding, with the notable exception of Manitoba, who continues to be hard hit. Tuesday at the daily federal COVID-19 briefing the prime minister announced more help for the province, including sending military aid and red cross medical personnel to 23 Indigenous communities. Jim Carr is the federal representative for the prairies and lives in Winnipeg. He told APTN that the federal government is quickly responding to provinces and communities requesting assistance.
