Mohawk musician was in Winnipeg to support calls for landfill search

Mohawk musician Logan Staats spent the last week in Winnipeg, supporting those calling for a search of Winnipeg landfills for their loved ones. Staats, who previously performed at 1492 Land Back Lane Camp and was arrested in 2021 during an RCMP raid on Wet’suwet’en Territory says there’s “medicine in these spaces” and “all of us search for something to be a part of that’s bigger than ourselves.”
