Mary Ellen Turpel-Lafond ‘most likely’ has Indigenous heritage says law society

Mary Ellen Turpel-Lafond is a former judge and Order of Canada recipient. She was accused of falsely claiming to be Cree, but according to the Law Society of British Columbia and a recent DNA test, she ‘most likely’ has Indigenous heritage.
