Lawyer introduced motion saying two Mi’kmaw harvesters’ rights were infringed

A trial over a treaty right to harvest continued in Nova Scotia on Wednesday, where two Mi’kmaw harvesters face fishery charges. Their lawyer introduced a motion saying their rights were infringed.
