Lawyer in B.C. alleges Indigenous girls forced to have IUDs

A Metis activist and lawyer in B.C. has alleged that Indigenous girls as young as nine years old have been forced to have IUDs inserted by doctors to prevent pregnancy should they be sexually assaulted in the foster system. APTN’s Melissa Ridgen explains.
