Lawyer for convoy organizer Tamara Lich says a Gladue report will be part of her case

The lawyer for convoy organizer Tamara Lich now says a Gladue report will be part of her case. APTN News obtained a copy of Lich’s Alberta Métis card and certificate – proving her Indigeneity. Gladue reports assist the court in delivering appropriate sentences if a person is convicted of a crime, taking into account the unique experiences of Indigenous offenders. Lich is facing multiple charges including mischief and intimidation stemming from her involvement in the Ottawa convoy protests.
