Inuvialuk visual artist Kablusiak wins Sobey Art Award

The 2023 Sobey Art Award winner was announced Saturday night. The presitgious $100,000 prize was awarded to Inuvialuk visual artist, Kablusiak. Originally from Yellowknife and currently based in Calgary, Kablusiak's work focuses on Inuit diaspora and pop culture nostalgia.
