Indigenous police force in Alberta takes over jurisdiction of non-Indigenous community

An Indigenous police force in Alberta has taken over jurisdiction of a non-Indigenous community. Redwood Meadows was previously policed by the RCMP, but now the Tsuut'ina Nation Police Service is responsible for the town of 1,000 residents just west of Calgary.
