Haida Gwaii Reconciliation Act now received royal assent in the B.C. Legislature

The Haida Gwaii Reconciliation Act has now become law in British Columbia. The legislation recognizes Haida Aboriginal title throughout the traditional territory of Haida Gwaii, including over 200 islands along the northwest coast of British Columbia.
