Freedom Day march marks the day survivors left a Nova Scotia residential school

June 21 is Indigenous Peoples Day, but in Nova Scotia it also coincides with Freedom Day – the day residential school survivors where released from the Shubenacadie residential school. APTN’s Angel Moore is at the Freedom Day march to learn more.
