First official National Ribbon Skirt Day on January 4

January 4 will mark the first official National Ribbon Skirt Day. It's in recognition of Isabella Kulak, who wore a ribbon skirt to a formal wear day at a Saskatchewan public school in December 2020 – where an education assistant told her it was not considered formal attire.
