First Nations working with RCMP in Manitoba to enforce pandemic bylaws

The organization representing First Nations in northern Manitoba will now be working with RCMP to help enforce pandemic bylaws to help stop the spread of COVID-19. With the new protocol, officers may investigate offences and lay charges against a person who breaks a bylaw. But MKO Grand Chief Garrison Settee says its up to each First Nation to determine how they want the enforcements to work.
