Final report released on the trauma caused by U.S. federal Indian boarding schools

The U.S. Department of the Interior released its final report explaining the trauma federal Indian boarding schools inflicted. The report calls for a formal apology from the U.S. government and ongoing support to help Indigenous people recover from the intergenerational trauma.
