Cowessess First Nation signs $38.7M deal to implement child welfare system

Prime Minister Trudeau attended a ceremony in Cowessess First Nation to commit $38.7 million to transfer control of child care to the community. He acknowledged that the announcement was done with the tragic discoveries of 751 unmarked graves still fresh in peoples' minds.
