Committee hears of barriers in Indigenous women accessing early breast cancer screening

A Parliamentary committee heard Monday that Indigenous women experience barriers when it comes to accessing early screening for breast cancer. Studies show Indigenous women are less likely to get early screening than non-Indigenous women.
