Class-action lawsuit filed over abuses and harms suffered by Innu at day schools

The Innu Nation and its members have launched a class-action lawsuit against Canada and the province of Newfoundland and Labrador over the abuses and harms suffered by the Innu at day schools that operated in Labrador from 1949 to 2009.
