Mi’kmaw MP Jaime Battiste shut out of cabinet shuffle

Mi’kmaw Liberal MP Jaime Battiste was shut out of a cabinet shuffle on Friday by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. Battiste, who was first elected in 2019 in the riding of Sydney-Victoria in Nova Scotia, is currently the parliamentary secretary to the minister of Crown Indigenous Relations.
