Ancient dugout canoes discovered at the bottom of Lake Mendota in Wisconsin

The Ho-Chunk Nation along with archeologists in Wisconsin made a huge discovery at the bottom of Lake Mendota – ancient dugout canoes hidden underneath the sediment. According to the Wisconsin Historical Society, the oldest canoe was built 4,500 years ago.
