There was a small but vocal gathering on parliament hill Monday with people decrying the federal governments plan for First Nations education.
At the moment, Ottawa is considering a piece of legislation that it says will help change education on reserves.
Last year hundreds of people gathered to send the same message to the minister of Aboriginal Affairs.
But if people were expecting a repeat of last years gathering that just about filled parliament hill they walked away disappointed.
As APTN’s Annette Francis reports, while the numbers were down the message was the same.
