The National Inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls returns to Manitoba for two days of hearings in the northern city of Thompson.
Commissioner Michele Audette will preside over at least eight public hearings on March 20 and 21. Statement – takers will be on hand to record testimonies in private, as well.
This is the 14th public hearing the inquiry is hosting since it was called in 2016. It is scheduled to wrap up in 2018.
