A Massive 7.7 magnitude earthquake hit the west coast of Canada just off the island of Haida Gwaii over the weekend.
Hurricane Sandy is expected to trigger high winds over the next 24 hours throughout southern Ontario, the St. Lawrence Valley, Quebec’s Gaspe region and the province’s north-shore, according to officials with the Canadian Hurricane Centre.
