Water protector Autumn Peltier was invited to a special ceremony this week in Toronto. Students at the Central Toronto Academy painted a mural of Peltier in honour of the work she has done on protecting water.
“Even if I don’t win, I’m still going to continue with my work for years to come,” says Autumn Peltier.
Autumn Peltier, a 13-year-old Wikwemikong girl who tearfully pleaded with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to protect the water is up for an international award.
