Chinese companies, if they object to decisions, will be able to threaten lawsuits against any government in Canada.
In Yukon, First Nation self-government agreements will not have special protection.
The free trade deal, known as FIPPA, was tabled in the House of Commons in September but hasn’t been ratified by Parliament.
