Thousands of students jammed the Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa to hear about WE Day.
The event takes place every year and is aimed at motivating young people to do more in their communities and be everyday leaders.
This year a number of Indigenous speakers went before the students.
The head of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission had a very specific message to them.
