Women from the Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory took to small rural road near the community Tuesday evening to set up for their day of action by the rail lines.
By daylight Wednesday, the group had more than doubled.
And by the time it was all over, dozens of people from Tyendinaga and surrounding communities joined in.
The message from the day of action was a call for a national inquiry into missing and murdered Aboriginal women.
APTN’s Annette Francis reports.
