A small delegation from the Lil’wat and the St’at’imc First Nation are heading to the Big Apple.
The two nations located north of Whistler, B.C., are attending the 10th annual session of the UN Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues in New York City.
Their purpose is to draw world attention to Aboriginal title and rights and freedoms of B.C.’s First Nations.
