Ghislain Picard is the Regional Chief for Quebec in the Assembly of First Nations, and he’s concerned about the Quebec provincial budget that was tabled this week.
“This issue really puts in perspective the uncertainty regarding taxations and the whole notion of fiscal relationship with Quebec,” said Picard.
“We are supposed to negotiate some kind of arrangements, agreements on the issues regarding taxations, but we are so far from any kind of settlement or agreement on these issues.”
