SASKATOON–The preliminary hearing in the death of Evander Lee Daniels has wrapped up.
Daniels was 22 months old when he drowned in a bathtub last year. Daniels was living in an overcrowded foster home when he died.
A Saskatchewan judge has now ruled that there is enough evidence to go to trial.
The boy’s foster mother, Eunice Wudrich is facing charges of criminal negligence causing death and endangering the life of a child.
The boy’s father, Chris Martell says he looks foward to seeing justice for his son.
Wudrich will be tried by jury, but not date has yet been set for the trial.
