Now what about reconciliation?
The word is defined as ‘a restoration of friendly relations’ or ‘making one view or belief compatible with another.’ In other words, mending fences.
This week, APTN National News has been running a series on residential schools.
In part three in our Perspectives series marking the end of the TRC we meet a man who believes in forging a new relationship with Canadians, a former student not yet ready for that, but is committed to her own journey towards healing and others who say they’re own truth hasn’t begun to be heard.
