There have been multiple clashes between the Morton County Sheriff’s Department and the water protectors whose goal is the stop the Dakota Access Pipeline from crossing the Dakota Sioux Tribe’s sacred land.
Police have pushed back the protests with various weapons including water cannons, rubber bullets, pepper spray and tear gas.
On Friday, International Indigenous youth put all that aside to deliver supplies and a message to the sheriff.
