Some Yukon chiefs duck violence against women rally

Women’s groups in the Yukon want First Nation leaders to be reminded of the violence that continues to plague women and children in their communities.

A rally was held during a chiefs gathering in Whitehorse and some of the chiefs in attendance avoided the event, despite invitations.
