The family of Brian Sinclair has suffered a major legal setback in its case against the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority and the province of Manitoba.
The Manitoba Court of Queen’s Bench has struck out much of the case, saying that they do not have the right to proceed with a claim based on Sinclair’s Charter right to life.
The Sinclair family’s lawyers say they intend to appeal the decision.
