There’s a new casino development going up in Shubenacadie territory, in the heart of Nova Scotia — and residents are concerned.
The council is considering a proposal that would see the developers take 34% of the casino’s revenue. Residents say that money could be better used in the community, and they’re asking to be part of the planning process.
