There was a big show of support of Shoal Lake 40 First Nation in front of the Manitoba legislature Monday.
The First Nation’s chief traveled to Winnipeg with a priority of getting an all-season road.
Chief Erwin Redsky met with the major of Winnipeg and the province’s minister responsible for the city.
There was talk of a funding commitment following the meeting.
