Last July, more than 200,000 litres of oil leaked into the North Saskatchewan River from a ruptured pipeline belonging to Husky Energy.
The spill has since been cleaned up and communities along the river have been given the go ahead to use the river as a drinking source once again.
But several kilometres from the spill site, a First Nation is finding oil on their lands.

I was on a plane flight from Alberta last year, a week before the big leak. Talking to an engineer from Husky we were talking about the petroleum industry using cheap forigen steel. He said Husky uses it and knows it’s bad, but uses it anyways. And usually leaks with in a year and they charge it to the insurance company’s to repair.
