In the late 1950s, a young boy attending a Brandon residential school in Manitoba, more than a 1,000 km from his home, was taken in one lonely Christmas by a local family.
That boy is now a grandfather who never forgot the kindness he was shown by a family he’s always wanted to see again.
By a twist of fate that reunion happened and APTN’s Shaneen Robinson was there.
