Loretta Saunders was killed in February 2014.
She was a 26-year-old Inuk woman from Labrador who was living in Halifax while she went to university.
Her family travelled from Labrador to the trial of her two killers last week. The trial was cut short after the pair pleaded guilty to first and second degree murder.
On Wednesday, her parents, Miriam and Clayton Saunders, will read victim impact statements in court.
But what the Saunders family really want is to remember Loretta.
They shared some of their memories with APTN’s Trina Roache.
