Saskatchewan justice officials have hinted that the circumstances surrounding a venue change in the sentencing of a First Nations leader may come under review.
At the same time, another Saskatchewan chief is publicly condemning the leader after he pleaded guilty to serious charges in court.

He should quit drinking altogether, and if he can do that then he should continue on doing the good things that he’s doing. His problem is out in the open and he needs to take major steps toward change.
