First Nation people in Quebec will soon see some relief at the gas pump.
On July 1, First Nation people in Quebec won’t have to pay provincial fuel tax, which amounts to about 16 cents a litre.
The break comes after the Assembly of First Nations of Quebec and Labrador won a class action suit filed in 2003.
The suit challenged the legality of the reimbursement process for the gas tax currently in place.
