The Ontario Provincial Police are confirming that human remains discovered by city of Kenora workers belong to Delaine Copenace.
According to a release from the OPP, investigators received a call about found human remains at 8:00 local time.
The 16-year old’s body was found at the end of Water street in Lake of the Woods in the City of Kenora.
Police say a dozen officers from the OPP North West region crime unit are working on the site which is closed off.
Copenace went missing Feb., 28. at around 6PM not far from home.
