The inquiry into the death of five-year-old Phoenix Sinclair will continue this week with nine witnesses expected to be called.
One witness will include Dr. Gary Altman. He is expected to deny allegations made by social worker Kerri-Lynn Greeley last week that Altman saw no need for further assessment of Sinclair’s mother.
The inquiry has got a look at never before seen pictures of a thriving and happy little girl.
The pictures contrast the cold reality of the little girl’s fate.
She was murdered by her mother and stepfather then buried in a shallow grave on the Fisher River Cree Nation in Manitoba.
Sinclair’s body was found in 2005.
