Since the protest started in North Dakota, hundreds of people have travelled to join the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe in their effort to stop the Dakota Access pipeline.
The 1,888 kilometre pipeline will take 500,000 barrels of oil from North Dakota to Illinois.
The Sioux Tribe says part of the pipeline is too close to their source of drinking water, and is destroying sacred sites.
Canadians are making their way to the site as well including some of the members of the Idle No More movement.
